The M101N gray-blue piston fountain pen is based on the technical basis of the M101N. The chosen gray-blue color scheme is based on a historical model from the 1930s. The barrel is made of high-quality cellulose acetate. The cap, the front part, and the filling handle are made of noble quality synthetic resin, which polishes itself through use. The palladium-finished clip, decorative rings, and fully rhodium-plated 14-karat gold nib give this attractive Special Edition its elegant silver appearance. This historic model is packaged in a stylish gift box along with the ink glass. The gift box and ink glass feature a special, nostalgic Pelikan motif, making this set a gift for any lover of the Pelikan brand. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap banding is stamped with, "PELIKAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M101N is new in the box and never inked. This Pelikan was purchased new in 2019. The cap top shows the one chick cap logo on the cap. This Pelikan M101N measures 4 7/8" inches in length capped and 6 1/8" inches posted.

This Pelikan features Rhodium-plated trim to the cap and barrel all highly polished. The Piston Filler works with such ease and to perfection. This Pelikan piston filler window has a blue-gray, water-clear, ink window.

The NIB on this Pelikan is a 14K - 585 with an extra-fine point and Rhodium plating. The actual fountain pen tipping measures .68mm when measured using a digital caliper. I have not inked the pen as to keep it uninked for the next collector.
